Trey Little
Executive Director
Trey Little serves as the Executive Director of Encounter Church, supporting church operations, providing financial management, and leading the administrative team. Trey has been attending Encounter with his wife, Danielle, since 2016. After spending a decade as a business leader in Lancaster County, Trey decided to get actively involved in ministry and join the Encounter Team in 2024. He wants to help further the vision of the church to see lives changed by encountering Jesus Christ, just as the Lord transformed his life through his relationship with Danielle, as well as the Encounter Church family years ago. Trey is also passionate about real estate and investing, financial oversight, writing, traveling, and entrepreneurship. In recent years, he has published multiple books, with more on the way, and started his own company with his wife and some close friends focusing on real estate and contracting. He loves spending the majority of his time with Danielle and their three children, Tirzah, Zarra and Loxley, getting together with family, visiting new destinations in the US and abroad, attending church activities, and expanding on their homesteading in Strasburg, all while enjoying God’s creation.
Our Elders
Wendell (Chairman) & Yvonne Slabach
Wendell Slabach has been attending Encounter Church since 2000 and has never been more excited to be a part of what God is doing in the life of our church family. He was born and raised near Canton, Ohio. He met his wife Yvonne, who is a native of Lancaster County, while attending Montana Wilderness School of the Bible. After working in Public Accounting in Ohio as a CPA, God directed their path to move to Lancaster County to work as the Controller for BB’s Grocery Outlet. Wendell and Yvonne have four children; two still at home and two that are married with awesome spouses. Encounter Church has had a tremendous impact in all their lives. Encouraging couples and families in a culture that consistently seeks to tear them apart is very near to their heart. Missions have also been very important throughout their lives as they have helped lead and take part in various international mission trips. Wendell has served in various leadership capacities both in the church, non-profits and business and does not take this privilege of leadership lightly. His passion is to see that everyone would live with an eternal perspective and to realize God has so much more for us than this world tries to offer us. In his spare time, Wendell enjoys spending time traveling, cooking/grilling, being outdoors and spending time with his family.
